Tuppas offers solutions that are process based as well as solutions for job shop. They showed us a big collection of highly configured solutions. I didn't think it would be possible for a SaaS company to offer tailored solutions but they do. I was sort of expecting a one size fits all approach. They had a lot of solutions that were very different from one another and I could see how they are able to provide real business advantage to their customers. Their systems utilize a rapid application development framework that makes the systems highly configurable.

Most of the systems offered by Tuppas are thin client browser systems so they implement without installing software on the client machine. The really nice thing about thin client is that you can access the system from anywhere. If you staff is out but they have access to the web they can get to the system. Thin client also allows the system to run on just about any operating system. In addition to accessing the systems from a variety of PCs we were able to get to it from our PDAs and smartphones.
